Community Focused Initiatives.

The Triton Aquatics Foundation (501c3) is dedicated to building a community-driven resource that fosters the sustainable growth of Water Polo and Swimming in the greater Tri-Valley. By investing in our aquatics community, we aim to eliminate financial barriers for individuals, families, and self-funded local high school and college aquatic programs. Your support is crucial in ensuring the longevity and success of our aquatics community.

Financial Aid Fund (40%)

Investing in youth sports is an investment in your child's future. Research consistently shows that participation in youth sports significantly contributes to individual development and is often linked to academic achievement and future success.

However, we understand that not all families have equal access to the resources needed to support their child's athletic endeavors. Our mission at the Club and Foundation is to collaborate in breaking down financial barriers for all members while providing the best possible experience.

In the short term, the foundation will offer financial aid based on demonstrated need through a structured application process. This immediate support aims to make participation in our programs accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.

Looking ahead, the long-term goal of the Financial Aid Fund is to help offset the costs associated with club operations, team travel, and other expansion initiatives. By doing so, we aim to reduce overall expenses for all members, making our programs more affordable and sustainable. Your support in this endeavor ensures that every child has the opportunity to benefit from the life-changing experiences that youth sports provide.

Community Development Fund (45%)

Triton Aquatics is dedicated to fostering a sustainable aquatics community for both current and future athletes. To achieve this, the Foundation will directly invest in local self-funded programs, including high school and college water polo and swimming. By collaborating with local coaches, the Community Development Fund will provide monetary contributions, donate essential equipment, and help finance travel expenses and other high-cost needs. These efforts will directly benefit the aquatic community throughout the greater Tri-Valley, ensuring robust support for our athletes and programs.

Scholarship Fund (15%)

For many local athletes, playing at the college level is a dream realized through hard work and determination. The Foundation aims to encourage this dedication and reward athletic achievements based on merit.

In collaboration with locally owned businesses, the Foundation will annually award eight scholarships—four to water polo players and four to swimmers, with equal representation of male and female athletes. These scholarships are designed to help offset the costs of college and continuing education, supporting our athletes as they pursue their academic and athletic goals.
